First Lesson!

 

What a day! Today was the first lesson I had taught with my group of five (including myself). In my personal opinion, I think that we made a great lesson for the students. We introduced ourselves and asked some opening questions. We also set our rules and expectations for the class as well as practiced our callback. The class was super ready to learn which was a great sign to start! We got into the lesson which was a direct lesson. There was no collaborative work today it was mostly having them absorb the info given to them. We used google slides and also software called Pear Deck for our lesson. We were able to incorporate an interactive part of our lesson which I think the students liked! We then ended our lesson with a review game of Kahoot and the students loved this. They energy in this room was electric. To see the students smiling was the best part. I am so proud of my group and cant wait to teach again! I loved it!
