Closing out the Semester!

Welcome back! I am so upset to say that I will be closing out this blog for the Spring semester (for now). I hopefully will be coming back to post when I find this interesting related to social studies. I have learned a lot through this course. It has made me more confident in my teaching as well as my knowledge of social studies. I really feel between all the readings, work, and fieldwork experience I have skills that I will be taking with me into my professional life. I think the most important thing I learned is confidence. If you are confident in your teaching you will always be successful in teaching a good lesson. 

I also want to give a special thank you to Dr.Smirnova. Dr.Simrnova has taught me so much in the past semester. His corrections and feedback have always made my writing and classwork better than before. I wish her the best as she heads into retirement! I am truly going to miss her! 

I now have lots of confidence in teaching social studies. My brain is already working on what fun and engaging activities I can include in my social studies class lessons. I really hope this is not the end and I will talk to you guys soon!
